This weekend we had a Schroeder family reunion on Galiano Island at the very quaint Driftwood Village Cottages. Although my nephews tend to get the most camera time, we had an amazing weekend with everyone who could make it. Many walks, talks and family meals were shared, including a brief touching toast to those we miss - our dear Gramps and my dad, Uncle Greg. Although I did not spot an orca, most of my family spotted several pods. I love my family.
